Granada is an important tourist center, due to its antiquities. One of the most important archaeological monuments in the country, is the Alhambra.UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1984. It includes the palaces and buildings of the last Muslim dynasty that ruled Andalusia from the 13th and 15th centuries, in addition to the Al-Arif Park and the Al-Bayacín neighborhood.

The beautiful Cathedral of Granada dates back to the Renaissance in Spain, in which is located the Royal Church, which contains the tombs of the Catholic Monarchs, Isabel I, Queen of Castile, and Ferdinand II, King of Aragon.

Granada alone includes around twenty museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts of Granada, considered the oldest regional art gallery in the country.
